I saw the season premiere, but I didn't get the discussion Harm and Mac had
about her "condition". Just what is it that she is recovering from? TIA.

At least we know what's wrong with Mac: Endometriosis. (If you want to
know what it's about, Google for it. I won't go into it here).

I have a friend who had endometriosis when she was a young woman. She is
now the mother of three.

I am not sure the condition renders a woman unable to conceive.

Ladies...... an opinion from those who would know best, please?

I've known women with fairly severe cases that had babies. It *can* render
it impossible, but I don't think it's a given by any means.

It doesn't necessarily keep one from having children, just
sometimes-if the growths block the tubes-sometimes it actually helps
to get pregnant- so this will be milked for the next two seasons...)

Listen, I'm not a JAG watcher- my mom is, and she missed the premiere-
can someone give me a short synospsis? She has no computer. I
googled for it and all I found was Mac's condition.

thank you,

Karen

Not necessarily true. Conception is probably more difficult -- but it
happens.

Endometriosis can make conception more difficult. The irony is that
pregnancy is one of the best ways to elimination the condition, if it
can be achieved.

That's interesting.

As I wrote in the original post, I have a friend who had the condition at a
very young age. As I recall, she told me the doctor told her to take birth
control pills everyday for nearly a year. That of course simulated a
pregnancy and the condition cleared up.
